You can update all information in the form. However, this is only possible, before the application is submitted. Once you have received the electronic travel authorization for the United States, you will only be able to update the following data:

What happens if my passport details have changed or if it expires?
You must submit a new ESTA application and wait for the visa to be approved if you receive a new passport or if any information in your passport has changed. Otherwise your application will be rejected or you will be denied entry to the United States. You also have to pay the associated fees again.
Can I correct errors in my ESTA?
Before submitting your application to our company, you can check and correct your data on our website in the last step.Â You can update all information on the form, except the passport number and country of citizenship. If you have made a mistake in your passport information you will need to submit a new application and await the approval of the visa. Make sure that you do not make any incorrect entries. Otherwise your application will be rejected or you can be denied entry to the United States. You must pay the fee for each newly submitted ESTA application. Can I correct an error concerning the date of issue or expiry of the passport?
As long as you have not yet submitted the ESTA application to us, you can update the issue and expiry date of your passport. If you enter an incorrect passport issue or expiry date and we have already submitted the application to the U. S. Department of Homeland Security, you will need to submit a new application. You also have to pay the associated fees again. The previous application is cancelled.
Can I update my information myself?
When you access your ESTA approval on the ->official ESTA website under “Check ESTA Status”, click on the “Update” field. On the following page, you can check the entries and change them if necessary.
Please note that you can only change your address in the USA and your email address afterwards.
You must apply for a new ESTA if you receive a new passport or if you have changed the information in your passport. You also have to pay the associated fees again.

If I want to re-enter the US and update my ESTA approval, will I find new update possibilities? What has changed?
Under certain conditions, tourists and business travellers can travel to the United States without applying for a visa and stay there for a maximum of 90 days.
Every person travelling to the USA must obtain an ESTA travel authorization in advance or be able to provide an ESTA that is still valid. The ESTA application should be submitted in time, at the latest 72 hours before departure. Once your ESTA request is approved, you can update the following information:
